Privacy

What happens to the links you paste

Nothing leaves your browser. The site is a set of static files with no backend, so there is no server to receive a video link even in principle. Your configuration is kept in the part of the page URL after the hash, which browsers never send in a request.

Requests to other sites

To show a thumbnail and read a video title, your browser asks the video platform directly using its public oEmbed endpoint. That request goes from you to YouTube, Vimeo, or Loom, and never through this site. Those platforms have their own privacy policies.

Storage on your device

One item is saved in local storage: your light or dark theme choice. It never leaves your device and clearing site data removes it.

Analytics and advertising

Neither is running yet. When analytics and advertising are added, they will default to denied and will only run after you agree, and this page will be updated to describe exactly what each one collects before either goes live.
